What an exciting time we had in Week 7 this term from 16-18 June.

Congratulations to our Timaru Boys' 1st XV Rugby team who, after a tremendous 15-8 win against Christchurch Boys' on Saturday, have taken a major step towards a semi-final spot in the Miles Toyota Championship.

Well done to the group of 24 young people who spent the weekend of 25-27 June raising funds for the World Vision 40 Hour Famine.

On Sunday 27 June, a large number of the TBHS Trapshooting Group competed at the Timaru Intercollegiate shoot.

This event was held in Timaru on 19-20 June with the TBHS team consisting of Dominic Coleman (Captain), Thomas Kyle, Jack Boorer-Lilley, Harry Sargent, Luke Tompkins, Alex Tudgey and Lochlan Crawford.

Congratulations to our young men who participated in the recent Rockquest where they displayed some outstanding talent and performances.

Well done to AJ Foster who successfully defended his Aotearoa Muay Thai Association (AMTA) New Zealand Youth 63.5 Kg title.

The TBHS Chess Team had an outstanding day at the Chess Regionals Tournament, taking out the top three places in the Senior event:

Johnson Cleland travelled to Hawera, Taranaki for the rescheduled NZSS Cross Country on 19 June.

The TBHS cross country team challenged themselves by heading south to the Otago Championships.

A number of 1966 Old Boys visited Thomas House as part of their Timaru Boys’ High School Reunion on Monday 14 June.
