This week, 17 senior students presented the Shakespeare scenes they’ve been preparing all term - firstly to whānau and friends in the school auditorium on Tuesday evening and then to the judges at the Shakespeare Festival on Thursday morning.

Parent Interviews will be held on Thursday 7th April and Wednesday 13th April.

Our aim during this time is to work with our senior students on issues related to careers, goal setting, resilience, habits and study skills.

Serious About Science is one of the new junior options for those wanting to take their science education to the next level.

The beautiful cave art lined the walls of the Paemanu: tauraka toi - A Landing Place exhibition, drawn with only two pencils.

There are some frightening videos circulating of a seemingly innocent blue teddy bear that turns into a villain, singing about hugging and killing.

It has been extremely heartwarming to witness the wonderful generosity of spirit from our Kavanagh College Community as donations for Relay for Life have come flooding in.

On the 12th and 13th of April, the newly created Kavanagh St Vinnies group will be organising a can drive!

With the Stadium back up and running again and being able to admit crowds, the call is out for any Year 11-13 students and parents (your child can be in any year) who would like to take the opportunity to raise funds for school activities.

Kavanagh Secondhand Uniform Sale will be happening again these coming holidays on Saturday 23rd April and Saturday 30th April at 1.30pm - 3.00pm in the School Administration Foyer in the Dominican Block - entrance at the top of Rattray Street.
