I came to NZ when I was around twelve, and now I am seventeen and just graduated. I have spent around five years in Kavanagh College.

In fact I was really nervous at first, because I didn’t know: if the teachers are nice and if the students are friendly. But all of them were very good to me, the teachers helped me a lot, and the classmates I had were also really kind and polite. Besides, there were many activities and events, most of them are quite good and meaningful.

I think Kavanagh doesn’t just teach you the academic knowledge, more importantly, they tell you how to be a better person. For example, because we are a Catholic school, “Respect” is one of them, and that helps me lot in real life.

Because of Kavanagh, I know everyone is different, we shouldn’t force anyone to change,we should respect their opinions first, and then listen to them see if we can help them. Because of this, I actually became more patient, and I know respect is the key. That’s what Kavanagh taught me, and I will never forget that. Thank you, Kavanagh College.“
