Gaow, Year 8, Thailand

During my time here at Trinity Catholic College there are many wondrous things that I have been a part of, like the Year 8 camp and the many trips I did in classes.

On a normal day there are also many subjects, for example from year 7-9 there is the integrated studies program where they combine many subjects to try and solve real world problems.

The international community is also very friendly and welcoming. Once in a while they would host international events where you go on a trip with other interns. The location/activity of the trip depends of the international prefect at time, and the majority opinion of international students.

There are also many kind and wonderful students within the junior school who are nice and kind. They are understanding and truthful. Many people like me were also very scared of whether the students and the teachers of this school would be nice, but now after 1 year I can guarantee that they are amazing and kind individuals who are very polite and respectable.

Trinity also tries to make you a part of their community by hosting different inter school tournaments for different sports and activities with other schools. This helps you get to know other people who are not in your own school and explore different people who are part of your Dunedin community.

This school also teaches you many things that would help you out in real life, for example the special characters of Trinity are Respect, Service, Truth and Justice. These values help us all be guided to be a better person tomorrow, and that we all have second chances such is the Catholic way. Through this way, Trinity does not just teach us about academics but also about self-worth and the respect of other's differences.
