Bound Tui Motu copies 2023 by Ann Gilroy
Ann Gilroy — June 12, 2024
Each issue of Tui Motu has a mix of contributing writers and artists.
Among the writers we have regular columnists, a team who share their expertise in feature articles and occasional and new writers. Together they contribute to "knitting the islands together" with conversation and reflection on Church, Aotearoa society and the world, and fulfil the magazine's mandate over the course of the 11 issues.
We celebrate all our writers and particularly acknowledge those who write regularly for the magazine:

Painters and Sculptors
In the 11 issues of 2023-2024, we published the work provided by 55 artists in Aotearoa and from other parts of the world. Their work and the many photographs we garner and copies of artists' works now in the public domain make each issue of Tui Motu a feast for the eyes, the mind and the spirit. We send the artists a copy of the magazine with our gratitude and frequently hear that they liked how we used their work – some even offer more images.
Poets
During the year we published the poems of six New Zealand poets and one from overseas in the reflection centrespread. We are grateful to the poets. We hear from subscribers that the centrespread is much appreciated and is used in ministry and for personal and group reflection.
