Visit this articleOur Head of Boarding, Emma Clapcott, has chosen the whakataukī - He waka eke noa to encapsulate her vision for our boarding whānau. This whakataukī has an array of interpretations, but for boarding, the focus is on whanaungatanga (building and maintaining relationships, kotahitanga (unity) and manaakitanga (looking after each other) as we paddle together in unison, heading in the same direction. Our school vision brings this to life: Preparing confident, resourceful and resilient young women to make a positive difference in their world.
Visit this articleOur property team, led by Property Manager Vince Maree and Senior Caretaker Jason Worsley, has been busy overseeing the upgrade of Herft House and the Davis House office over the holidays. Renovations will also start soon on Johnston House, which will see Whaea Jackie spending a few weeks residing in the flat by Moxon House. Whaea is confident that our Year 9 students will enjoy hearing her snoring through the walls.
