Terrific Teddy Bear Day in the Otakaro Community!

On Wednesday an array of different teddy bears accompanied the children to Wairakei School. From dinosaurs to pandas, the variety was endless. The teddy bears joined in with the children's learning throughout the day. It was so fantastic to see children incorporating their toys into their play based learning activities. 

The beautiful weather gave the children a fabulous opportunity to write their stories about their toys outside. Children were buzzing with ideas and could not wait to get it down on their teddy bear shaped paper. 

What a fun filled day it was to be had by everyone, including the teachers.... I wonder if you can spot what was on Miss Rockell's vest.
