On Monday, 11th March, Y12 Geographers headed to Mt Cook to undertake research for their internal assessment. It was an early start, leaving just after 7 am!

Very early on a Monday morning in late February, 33 Year 12 PE students and 8 adults left Oamaru to travel to Wanaka for tramping and adventure-based learning activities.

Year 10 Music created their own instruments out of household materials.

Year 12 Physics recently had the opportunity to put the formula Torque = Force x Distance into practice by safely changing a tyre and using ratchet tie-downs.

The Equestrian team headed to Waimate last week to compete in the Sandalwood Event for Showjumping & Dressage! A great day out with Ella Waldron coming 3rd in the 65cm, Larnie Davidson 1st in 65cm and Manon Tartonne 2nd in the 85cm showjumping!

Each year, like every secondary school in the country, we have a number of students who require special assessment conditions for their NCEA assessments, both internal and external.

Harvard University has been running the world’s longest study on happiness for 86 years. Their recent findings show that the impact of relationships was important regardless of the context — marriage, friendships, family, and other social supports were all similarly important in determining happiness.
