The Ministry of Education has given schools an additional Teacher Only Day to be taken in term 4.

Do you currently live outside our school zone with a child who already attends Waitākiri and have a new entrant child due to start school in 2024? From term 2 2024, these new entrant children WILL NOT have automatic entry to Waitākiri. A ballot will be held each term with a limited number of new entrant places available. We are unable to accept any other year groups from out of zone.

This term the board has begun work on our strategic plan by surveying our school community on the goals they think we should have for our akonga.

Term 4 is when it is compulsory for our children to wear a school sunhat. Children will not be able to play outside of the shaded areas if they do not have a school sunhat.
