Thank you for attending the learning conferences two weeks ago. We really appreciate the three way partnership between whānau, school and student. We have had a superb start to the year, so thank you for all of your support in having your child ready to learn!

This is a really fun week organised through Christchurch City Council. As a school we will be participating in Travel together Tuesday by dressing up our wheels, Wacky Wednesday by having a no uniform day (no gold coin) wearing all things bright, and Funky feet Friday by wearing the funkiest footwear.

The swimmers all showed REAL Hero values by all doing their very best and all giving everything a go. We were very proud of all of our swimmers. Mr Barker even helped out in the relays!

Te Ahi Ora Fire Performance Group are thrilled to announce that they will be coming to Waitākiri Primary School this year. They deliver free performing arts lessons to schools, followed by free evening fire performances and lessons for our community.

Our school is involved in a government wellbeing initiative called Healthy Active Learning.
