Student success - HBC Basketball

Over the Easter holidays some of our students represented the Hibiscus Coast Basketball Association at the Mel Young Basketball tournament in Tauranga. The people who took part in the tournament were Emme Law, Keira Heremaia and Annabelle Lowe representing Under 12 girls. Sriram Oruganti representing Under 12 boys which amazingly won their division!!! First, we had to trial, then when we got accepted, then we had to put all our effort into practice. At the tournament there were many teams we played from all over the North Island. We all had a lot of fun playing in the tournament and we used our ORCA values all of the time. By Annabelle Lowe
