Welcome to Term 4 ! A special welcome to all our new students and their families. We are having a powhiri next Wednesday 23rd October at 9.10am in the school hall to welcome all new staff, students and their families.

The boys grew native tree seedlings to raise money for "kiwis for kiwi", and sold them during the school holidays.

As Term 4 rolls out and 2020 comes closer, we want to be able to celebrate as many things as we can with our parent community. Please note the following dates and events:

Clean out your cobwebs, dust off your brooms and wipe off your hatchets - its time to freak out your friends at another famous Whangaparaoa School Halloween Disco!!!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Orewa Rotary Club. Over the holidays Orewa Rotary Club members donated and installed some seating posts that double as balancing posts too. They also installed astro turf which makes that area another all weather, multipurpose space. It has been so lovely to see the children using the area. The grass and posts have turned the weedy area into an all weather, multipurpose space and is one step closer to completion of the sensory garden. Thank you Orewa Rotary Club. Can't wait to see what they have in store for the rest of the garden!

On Sunday 13th October, Alisa Coker and Isabella Champion competed in the 2019 Level 5-10 Titans Gymnastics Competition in Melbourne, Australia. Alisa came 1st in Bars and 4th in Vault. Issie came 2nd in Bars and their team came 3rd overall.

In the first week of the holidays Raeann traveled to Queenstown to take part in the Snow Sports NZ Junior Freestyle Competition held at Cardrona Resort.
