Ka Eke Tawera-Our Learning Hub is a place where students are supported with their Reading and comprehension skills. Our learning hub is implementing a Structured Literacy approach for adolescent readers, using 'Agility with Sound' a skilled-based intervention, developed in New Zealand, for older readers. The programme has been reported to show increases in reading levels measured by commonly used assessments in all New Zealand schools. 

We have two dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSA) who work extremely hard to improve outcomes for our students; decoding, reading, comprehending,self confidence and motivation! The LSA's are champions!
