We are coming to the end of our Moon and Beyond unit this week with 8 weeks hard work coming to fruition on Monday Afternoon - Stay tuned for our summary video in the next week.

For the last three weeks, we have had the pleasure of having Rachael Daweson and Mya Cherry as student teachers. They have been working amongst all classes and have led a variety of lessons. They will be with us until the end of the term. We also welcome back Jessica Henwood and Theo Field at the beginning of Term 4.
Well done to Mia Christian or should we say 'Miss Christian' who was our teacher for the day earlier this week. She took her job very seriously and had a literacy, Numeracy and a very popular Drama lesson planned for the day. What an auspicious start to your teaching Career, Mia!.
We spent the week embracing Te Reo Māori by engaging in some new Kupu and revising how to greet and ask each other how they are.
While our Winter Tournament teams were out, Te Ngahere spent the day doing three rotations, one of which included Te Kou Kou String Making. For our students who haven't quite mastered it yet, or parents who want to learn themselves, here is the video link from Rekindle that teaches you how to make it from Te Kou Kou leaves.
