Week 9 - Wednesday to Friday September 13th-15th Camp
Week 10 - Whole school Assembly Thursday 21st of September
Camp is this week on Wednesday! We sent home a paper notice to remind families of the gear required for camp. We also have a few families who have yet to pay the $150 fee. Please contact the office ASAP if this is an issue.
For students not coming to camp with us, there will be a programme available for them at school. While at school they will be split up amongst the Te Peka, Te Hapua, Te Awa, and Te Maunga teams.
Once again, we please ask our families to name as many of their child's items as possible. A couple of plastic bags in with their bag for their wet clothing would be ideal as well.
While at camp, we will be updating via the school Facebook and Hero, some images of what we are up to each day. On Friday, we will also use Hero to communicate when we leave camp.
While Mr Langlands won't be joining us for camp. He has been cleared to return to the classroom from tomorrow. We thank Mrs Wynyard for spending two weeks with us and ending the week with an awesome competitive Stem Lesson.
What an amazing performance our kids put on! The students brought their A game each night and made us proud. Here is a sneak preview of some of the photography from Nicola Simon.
We've been looking at a Volume focus for the last two weeks. Our students have been learning the formula: width x height x depth = Volume.
Can you work out how many cubic centimetres the shape below is?
M Pakeke has continued working on their pastel skills since completing their calendar art, here are a few creations below.
The Koru Games is a South Island Year 7 & 8 multi-day sports tournament hosted by Selwyn Sports Trust in the Selwyn District. In week 10, we have a small, select number of Te Ngahere students attending. These students will have more info over the next week.
