This was originally sent out on the 8th of March, this email is a reminder for parents to fill our the permission google form.

This term Te Ngahere is lucky enough to have the opportunity to go surfing at Waikuku Beach. This event will be held on 30th March 2022 with www.surfcoach.co.nz  We will be leaving school at 9am via transport provided by parents & teachers and leaving the beach at 2.30, returning to school shortly before 3pm.

The cost of this trip will be $34.00 per child. This is payable to your child’s teacher in a named envelope or online with 'Te Ngahere Surfing' as the reference. This will be required to be paid by Friday the 25th of March.

Students should bring :

• togs

• towel

• sunscreen,

• warm clothing,

• food for morning tea and lunch and water in a water bottle.

• Student’s are welcome to bring their own wetsuits if they wish, but in regards to bringing your own surfboard, surfcoach prefer students use the companies soft surfboards.

We will need parents to assist with supervision at the beach. This will mean staying with us for the whole day. We will also need assistance with transport. Parents helping with either of these will need to be double vaccinated thank you.
