Amesbury Digest - 4 April 2022

Kia ora Amesbury Whānau

It's great to see the attendance numbers at school quickly increasing again as students and staff return from their isolation stints. For those that have unfortunately been afflicted with Covid-19 we wish you a full and speedy recovery.

Don't forget, if you haven't already done so, to sign up for the Online Student Conferences being held this Wednesday & Thursday (6 & 7 April) - except for Rupert's whānau. Generally, the conferences will cover your child's wellbeing and learning. Sign ups close at 8am on Wednesday morning.

Recently, Eilis has been asking for registrations for various school sporting teams. It's great that these activities are on the go again and we encourage your tamariki be a part of these teams if they are interested in these sports or want to 'have a go' and try something new or different. Check out the notices for what's available. Miniball has proved so popular all of the teams are now full.

With the school cross country happening in the first week of next term, the holidays would be an ideal opportunity to put in a little extra practice. It's a great opportunity for the whole whānau to exercise together. That was something I enjoyed doing with my kids - until they got too fast for me.

Please be aware that the last day of school for the term is Wednesday 13 April. Thursday 14 and Friday 15 April are a teacher only day and Easter Friday respectively.

Have a safe and productive week.
