Four weeks into the school year and we have already taken part in some amazing activities and are making the most of all learning opportunities.

We have participated in outdoor activities aimed at developing our swimming skills and practising small ball skills. We got to do a Science lesson about kinetic and elastic energy with Mrs. Scott from 'The House of Science'. In class we have participated in activities aimed at getting to know each other and learning to work collaboratively. In Art, we have studied the artwork of Thank You X who is a street artist and used one of his projects to inspire our own creations. Also, we created self portraits and our own visual ‘pepehas’. We are currently doing research about different kinds of treasure chests. Then we will plan and create our own treasure chests to keep taonga in, that we collect at school during this year.

Rooms 5 and 6 are excited about the learning journey we are embarking on in 2023.
