Bay of Plenty Symphonia

Bay of Plenty Symphonia, Tauranga’s community orchestra, would like to invite your students and their families to our FREE Family Concert at Holy Trinity Church on Sunday afternoon, 4th September.

Storyteller and local primary school teacher Jeremy Hantler will join the orchestra on stage and get the kids involved and engaged in the famous adventures of Peter and the Wolf. Together, we will learn about the different instruments of the orchestra, which represent the various characters in the story. Kids are encouraged to dress up as one of the characters in the story (bird, cat, duck, wolf, hunter, grandfather, Peter)!

Other short family friendly pieces complete an afternoon of educational fun for all the family.

The Free Family concerts are at 2 pm and 4 pm, Sunday 4 September at Holy Trinity Church, Devonport Road. No tickets required, donations welcome.
