Winter sports is currently closing off with many grade finals taking place. It is a busy time but great to see how well our students are doing and the wide participation in sports at the school.

The rain held off as the Miles Toyota Cup final kicked off at Ngā Puna Wai on Wednesday, with stands full of supporters from both schools.

Nominations close Tuesday 23 August 2022 at midday.

Voting closes this Wednesday 7 September 2022 at 4pm.

Monday 22nd August is a Teacher Only Day. School will be closed to allow for a government mandated day around the changes to NCEA.

Last weekend Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora sent a team away to the New Zealand Secondary School Squash Nationals, held in Auckland.

This year our school ski and snowboarding team competed at the Canterbury Championships at Mt Hutt Ski Field.

On Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th at 5:30pm the Year 11 Drama classes are performing their class production of Know Your Role by Brandi Owensby in the Christchurch Girls High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora Theatre.

The Christchurch Girls' High School /Te Kuru o Hine Waiora Lip Sync will take place at Christchurch Boys' High School on Thursday 25th August at 7pm.
