A stunning day at Ngā Puna Wai to kick off the competition. Numbers are still down across the region but our kura is definitely building its numbers. We have a team of 28 athletes across most disciplines with a total of 49 entries.

Last Thursday 9 March our competitive swimmers headed for Wharenui Pool after period 4 for our Swimming Sports.

The school appreciates all payments for donations. These funds are used to fund educational, cultural, IT, sporting and social amenities and activities not covered by the Government Operational Grant.

We are looking for netball coaches (adults) for our school teams.

On Monday 20 March, school will finish at 12.05pm at the conclusion of period 3.

We are now recruiting new homestay families for our International student programme. 3 week, 10 week and 1 year stays are needed.

The next Christchurch Girls’ High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora Board of Trustees meeting will be held in Room 126 at 5pm on Monday 18 September 2023.

Islam and cultural belongingness was celebrated during Unity Week this week.
