Amelie Wink, Year 10, was part of the Canterbury team competing in Kaikoura last week.

Learning Engagement Feedback reports have now been sent. This will be the final LEF for the year. Full end of year written reports for juniors will be emailed at the conclusion of Junior Prizegiving in December.

Congratulations to Lola Bryson-Boe, who placed 2nd in the U16 girls competition.

The results section of the parent portal has been turned off to allow for processing of Senior Exams. It will remain off for the remainder of the year as we move into junior exams.

Last Thursday the CGHS 1st XI Cricket team had the honour of playing at The Willows cricket ground. Last year we were the first women to play at the Willows and this year we were lucky to be invited back.

This week the Art department said goodbye to Pingee the penguin. Pingee can be seen on the Pop Up Penguins trail in Christchurch in November.

School examinations for all senior students will be taking place from Wednesday 14th October to Tuesday 20th October. These examinations are up to 3 hours in duration and are held both in the morning and afternoons on all days.

We are looking for someone with very good writing skills, experience taking notes and actions, MS Word, Outlook, Google docs and reliability to attend and participate in the CGHS PTA monthly meetings.
