GEIS is excited to have entered a three-year School Engagement and Development programme with one of our mana whenua, Te Kawerau ā Maki.

I had the privilege last week to walk around all the Spec Rooms and see all the new groups in action.

It is all GO in the Performing Arts space with Moana JR auditions kicking off this week.

At the beginning of this term, before our tamariki arrived, we held a blessing of our four new classrooms-Te Pūmotomoto o Kauri Rah.

The ritual of raising and lowering a national flag each day holds profound symbolic significance, reflecting the core values, unity, and sovereignty of a nation.

An unmatched day on the diamond!

Congratulations to our tamariki who had a great day participating in the Year 7 School swimming sports this term and also won mini school points for their mini school.

Our first sports zone day for 2025 with our girls softball teams and they all came out firing with a great start to our year!

Our 2025 Orienteering sprint series has kicked off and our first race took place at Mt Albert Grammar this term!

Any medication sent to school with your child needs to be sent to the Health Centre

We are very aware that parking in and around schools at the beginning and end of each day is never easy.

Students will need to wear their school hat every school lunchtime and when outside for long periods of time with their class.
