Newsletter Week 3 Term 2 2019

Kia ora,

As you may well be aware the Teachers' Union NZEI have voted to strike on Wednesday 29th of May. This will mean that school is closed on that day. Our Board of Trustees will be sending further information about this later this week.

A reminder to please keep unwell children at home. It is really important that if your child is sick they are not at school. For further guidance please see our policy on illness in SchoolDocs, user name: halswell password: quarry - then search illness. For the health of all our children it is so helpful if parents follow the policy.

Save the date!!  4th June - We will be hosting an information evening on how we are teaching maths - more information to follow in due course. This will then be followed by a Meet the Candidates session to meet those standing at the upcoming Board of Trustees elections.

Hope you all have a great week

Kind Regards

Rob Naysmith
