Kia ora Parents and Caregivers, this is important information for all families.

Every parent should now have received their login details for the Caregiver @School App.

As we lead up to the 150 Celebration of Hobsonville School in April 2025, our students are learning about the history of the school and surrounding area.

As you would have noticed our garden is getting a much needed makeover.

We always thank our Librarians for their mahi throughout the year with a special morning tea.

Yesterday we welcomed the 2025 New Entrants into the school with a powhiri.

This year, these three talented young students were part of the Whiria-Te-Tangata Research team.

Our Year 5 students recently embarked on a unique learning experience as part of their Concept-Based Inquiry into trade and business.

Year 6 students held a fantastic Market Day on Wednesday, selling their handmade products to the Year 4s.

We are looking forward to another season of Touch Rugby at Massey Rugby Club next year. A notice has gone out to all families this week.

The Junior School had a fantastic Athletics Day on Tuesday last week, with the weather cooperating beautifully as the skies stayed overcast.

Hobsonville School’s Senior Athletics Day was a hit this year!

On Thursday 28 November, Mr Grace and 8 Hobsonville students went to the inter-zone athletics competition.

On Tuesday 3 December, Miss Aspin and Mr Grace took Year 5 and 6 Boys' and Girls' teams to Moire Park to compete in the NW Touch competition.

The Year 5/6 Spitfires Touch Team came top of the table this season and were unbeaten in all of their games.

The U11s 3 Pointers Basketball Team won their final this week 34-16 against ACG.

Thank you to everyone who has participated in sporting events this year.

Epilepsy New Zealand are looking for volunteers to help with fundraising for Purple Day on Wednesday 26 March 2025.
