Students leaving early or sick

Please note that students must be signed out by their caregiver when leaving the school grounds for any reason.

When a student starts feeling unwell at school they must report this to their homeroom teacher.  Their teacher will issue them with a green card and send them up to the office, where the first aider will assess them and then call their caregiver if they need to be sent home. Students are not allowed to email or contact their parents to arrange for them to be picked up.

Students who need to leave early must have a signed note from their caregiver, or an email must be sent to their classroom teacher a day in advance. The caregiver will still need to come into the school to collect them and sign them out.

Biking and Scootering to School

If your child rides to school, please ensure they know the road code and wear a helmet at all times.

At the start of the year children are excited about getting to school and seeing friends and it is important they adhere to the road code, and ride considerately and sensibly. Students who ride a scooter to school are also encouraged to wear safety gear.

It is important to remember to bring your bike lock to school to keep your bicycle or scooter safe and secure.
