Newsletter #1 - 2023

Welcome to our first newsletter for 2023.  Our thoughts are again with those who have been affected by the recent Cyclone.  As the days go by we continue to see and hear stories of great sadness, loss and some stories that are truly remarkable.  Last night I saw some news articles describing examples of how communities are coming together to support each other as they begin to rebuild their lives and livelihoods.  We at school have been thinking about what we can do to support those in need.  The Waka Leaders will be coming together next week to come up with some ideas around this.

In the meantime, we are looking forward to a great year with the students and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday for our Huakina Mai event.

Key dates for our school are on our website, and we will be better utilising the community calendar to let you know about upcoming events.
