Please note the following events that are happening in in Term Three:

Term 3 is a busy one with the focus for Catholic Character being Social Justice. The first project is a 'Can Drive' for Westport.

At JPII we are looking at a variety of ways to increase student engagement through meaningful local learning opportunities.

Scarlett commenced her first day of Nursing training at the West Coast DHB as part of her Gateway Programme.

On Thursday 29th July, the Aidan Theatre Company group came to our school and performed a play called “Too Much Punch for Judy”.

Daily questions and competitions. Lots of spot prizes up for grabs, get your answers in! Look out in the daily notices for the questions.

Congratulations to the following John Paul II students that have been selected into the West Coast Representative teams for 2021.

The West Coast U15 boys competed in the Mainland Basketball Tournament in Rolleston from Sunday 18th to Tuesday 20th July.

Any senior Maori students interested in attending the next leadership wananga, please talk to Ms O'Regan. The wananga will be held at Makaawhio Marae, Bruce Bay 13-15th August.

Kia Ora Hauora are excited to be able to offer a 3-day Hospital Work Placement Programme in conjunction with the West Cast District Health Board.

As the travel bubbles open up in the Trans-Tasman and Cook Islands we see more and more opportunities for employment in our Airline industry.

The Bishop’s Pastoral Team will be hosting this event at Christ the King Parish on 11th August. Guest speakers will talk about our diocesan priority of Proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ.
