What a fabulous week of warm weather we have had, it makes us all feel so much more energetic. Please ensure you have a named school sun hat  for your child. See the office if you have not yet bought one. Every child needs a water bottle every day.

This term has begun with a hiss and a roar as the children have been super busy at camp and swimming.

This term is all about Structures. In class we have started investigating natural and man-made strong structures that exist in the world e.g. bridges, buildings, beehives and skeletons. The learning has centred on what makes a structure strong: the materials used, shapes and construction methods.

We would you to bring cans to school to help stock up the Dunedin Foodbank. Cans will be picked up from our school in around two weeks, so please ignore the above date! Thanks so much for those that have already brought cans!

From time to time we have a number of children who do well in activities outside of the school. We love hearing about these but do not always know what everyone has achieved or give it the correct recognition.
