On the 1st of July 2022, Tai Tokerau Trades Training had the pleasure of running a ‘Tools of the Trades’ event at Kamo High School.

After a slow start to Term 3 with most of sport being postponed in week 1 due to the weather we have certainly hit the ground running this week.

As part of the Level 2, Health course we are doing a social action to raise awareness about something we feel will support the well-being of our students at KHS.

This year, after a break for Covid, schools were again able to compete in the National Secondary Schools Culinary Challenge. Each time the event is held the regional finals are based around a seasonal, New Zealand-grown vegetable. This year that vegetable was beetroot!
