FRIENDLY REMINDER

In week 8 of this term on the 5th - 7th December all our year 9 and 10 students will be undertaking projects that help serve the wider Kamo Community.

On Thursday 24th November, during interval, the S.V.A. (student volunteer army) will be hosting a charity drive beneath the shade sails between C Block and the gym (weather permitting), to collect donations for the ‘Christmas in a Shoebox Whangarei’ charity.

Year 9 students did a site visit to both Re-Sort and Purewa Landfill as part of Kamo High's ongoing Environmental studies.

There is an opportunity to learn more about the industry, job opportunities, our courses and the skills you'll learn to hit the ground running.

An opportunity for a Year 12 or 13 student to pick up a summer job at Mico Plumbing*Bathrooms, Whangarei. Although it would be for the summer for a student returning to study next year, it would also potentially be an opportunity for someone looking for a permanent role, to start a career.

While the Seniors are all off with their study leave/exams it is all happening for our Junior students.
