The Magazine Committee is seeking feedback from students and the community about the Kamo Rewind (KHS School Magazine). We would greatly appreciate your feedback by Friday 9th December on this matter to assist us with our planning for 2023.

The Year 10 Horticulture students have been working hard building a pergola structure and growing kiwifruit rootstock for the new mini Gold kiwifruit block at Kamo High School. These same students will be field grafting, stringing and pruning next year, with their first harvest planned for 2024.

The live stream links for the Junior Merit Assembly and Prize Giving events will be published on the KHS Public Website and facebook page on the day of the events. The Audio stream will be unmuted when the event commences.

Spend a day at sea with the Navy. Talk to Careers about the chance to sail on a ship with Commander Mike Peebles and his crew at Waitangi next year.

To access results in January students need to have an NZQA account - which is based on their NSN number. Once they have logged, creating their own password, they can then access their results. If students already have an account with NZQA they do not need to set up a new one just to get their results.

2022 has not been without its challenges for Gateway Students but regardless of all the limitations and interruptions caused by Covid19, our incredible Kamo High School students have still been ‘out there doing it, showing resilience, dedication, flexibility and doing our school proud.

I would like to thank all of our coaches for 2022. Without you these students above would not have been able to accomplish what they did. You give up so much of your personal time to commit to our Kura and for that we cannot thank you enough. We wish all of our students, whanau and friends a safe and festive holiday and look forward to hitting the ground running with sport in 2023.
