Currently through ARC we are looking at a range of different aspects that fall under our value of Responsibility – following instructions.

The drama department is holding a fundraiser on Thursday 26 May to get our Shakespeare team to Wellington to compete in the National Competition.

The electoral roll for the Board of Trustee elections is open for inspection at the school office during school hours.  The roll is open to all parents, caregivers and guardians for inspection.

Come and listen to the exciting sound of the College Jazz Band, Steel Pan Bands, Choir, Soloists and the combined Katikati Concert and Katikati College Concert Bands to bring you a night of fantastic music.  Thursday 19th May at 7pm in the College Hall. $2 entry.

We will be hosting an information evening in the College Staffroom tonight at 7pm for all parents of Year 9 & 10 students.

Wednesday 18th May will see our annual College Cross Country event take place.  All parents and caregivers are most welcome to support their students at Moore Park from 1:15pm.

On Sunday 3rd April the Senior A Girls' Volleyball team packed their bags and headed off to Palmerston North for the 2016 NZ Secondary Schools Volleyball Championship.

Congratulations to one of our ex students, Cadet Petty Office Brendon Reid, who is the 2016 recipient of the Chief of Navy (CN) Scholarship.

14 students went to the Waikato BOP Swimming Championships on Tuesday 12th April.

Katikati College sent a strong team to Paeroa to compete in the Thames Valley Secondary School Tennis Champs.

Katikati College squash players continue to do well at all levels due in no small part to efforts of Teacher in Charge Rebecca Astwood, Junior Convenor, Karen Clement and the strong support of the Katikati Squash Club.

For the first time in Katikati the opportunity arose to have  combined sponsorship to support our local childrens' writing. With the help of the Western Bay Museum and the Returned Service Association we were able to link our learning to the commemoration of WW1 100 years.

Another superb day was had at our annual Katikati College Tennis Champs.  There was an excellent turnout, especially from our younger competitors.  Some very enthralling finals - congratulations to all involved.

Our Katikati College Triathlon was held late last term and we had a superb day with fantastic conditions and some very smart times.
