The competition day was held at Dave Hume Pool on Monday, February 14.

Our friendly and enthusiastic team of Year 13 Peer Support leaders were there to provide a warm welcome to our new Year 7 cohort - easing their nerves and transition into our kura with team building activities and games.

Ayrton Hodson, Luke Spurr, Sean Nicholson and Daniel Nicholson have been selected for the NZ U20 Ultimate Team. Team Katipo (as the representative team is called) will travel to Poland in August to participate in the World Junior Ultimate Championships.

Late last year the Year 9 Art class teamed up to create an entry for the Katch Katikati Upcycled Christmas Tree Competion, and they won.

Congratulations to our very own Ben Tanner who competed successfully in the 2021 NZ Wrestling Championships which were held over Waitangi Weekend!

The Katikati College Visual Arts students enjoyed pride of place at the Tauranga Art Gallery for the exhibition of a selection of five portfolios over the summer, along with many other secondary schools in the area.
