It's been a busy season for students and staff involved in Winter sports. Thank you to all who have been involved throughout the season whether you were on the sideline, participating, coaching or managing.

After a spectacular dress rehearsal last night, we wish you all the best for Te Hautonga (the Otago/Southland Secondary Schools Kapa Haka Competition) this Sunday in Invercargill.

George Bates participated in the finals of the Casio Victoria University Maths Competition, battling with the 14 other top Mathematicians from around the country. While not gaining a podium place, he represented King’s and Otago proudly. Congratulations George

The most significant annual show of student artwork, Celebrate Art Otago Secondary Schools Award Exhibition, was held at the Dunedin School of Art this August.

On behalf of King’s High School Football, we would like to invite you all to Forsyth Barr Stadium on Wednesday next week (28th August) in support of our three King’s teams that have qualified for the OSSSA Finals.

Congratulations to Duncan Roff and Kelsey Campen, Year 13 students, who both achieved High Distinction in the New Zealand Economics Competition run by the University of Auckland.

Thank you to those who have confirmed their 2020 Blazer order and paid the $50 deposit. If you have not yet returned the order form and paid the deposit, please do so by Wednesday 28th August. The orders must be finalised and confirmed with our supplier by 9.30am the next day. We do have spare copies of the form at the office should you require one.
