Term 3 saw lots continuing to happen in the sports scene.

New Zealand students in Years 11, 12, and 13 can enter the Poetry NZ Yearbook Student Poetry Competition annually, with winners announced each year on National Poetry Day. Logan Park is thrilled to celebrate with Year 12 student Shima Jack on her placing this year.

Our adventure racers competed again in August.

Our one act play thespians dominated in the Otago Theatrefest competition this year.

During Term 3 the Toroa groups have been set a series of tasks by the Taskmaster (Ms Caulfield) and her trusty sidekicks Qrowe Brittenden and Holly Bettis.

LPHS library and the University of Otago has collaborated to create a Tertiary Transition program for our Year 13 students who are planning to head to university study.

The Learning Support class have enjoyed a great year of a variety of recipes as they cook twice a week in the Foods Room.

These two annual events, organised by the University of Otago Department of Classics, are a highly anticipated part of the calendar for those keen on Latin and Classics.

In Term 3, Year 9 students have taken part in a reading challenge. Despite the interruption of a lockdown the results were fantastic.
