Genius time allows the students in Raupo to explore their own passions and encourages their creativity . It provides them with a choice in what they learn during a set period of time  every Tuesday. There will be a learning celebration in Raupo on Wednesday 12 April from 2 - 3pm to share what we have been doing.

Each student in Raupo has chosen a unique topic to explore and immerse themselves into during Term One.

The topics range from learning a language, to mastering the art of sculpture.  If you looked around the room, you would see a hive of activity; a table of sewers, sewing their own unique masterpieces by hand and by sewing machine, a cluster of sculptors wrapping plaster around metal skeletons; power tools buzzing, a kitchen full of children mixing and stirring and producing all sorts of delicious concoctions, a room silent all except for the sound of Scratch coding and the clicking of key boards, chairs crowded by language learners, their hands full of book and iPads, and much, much more.

Genius Time is a great opportunity that everyone in Raupo feels very lucky and privileged to experience. It builds creativity and imagination and inspires all kinds of great work and ideas.
