Chapter chat is a way for us to chat and talk about a book we are reading.  We are reading the book Holes by Louis Sachar. We use twitter for sharing the things we have done about our book and choose from activities on an explorer sheet like answering questions about the book, making food, vocabulary and research. The character Sam in the book loves onions and he makes anything out of them and says they are really good for you, like using onion paste to make your hair grow. We made onion rings as one our explorer activities.
