Year 10 and 11 students attend the Omatsuri Festival in Palmerston North.

Omatsuri is a Japanese Festival for High School students, held at the International Pacific University campus.

The Year 10 and 11 Japanese classes attended the event this year along with Sensei Mizutani.

They had an awesome night trying lots of Japanese food, playing festival games, learning Japanese drums and dance and more.

Trips like this don't go ahead without support from parents, so a big thanks to Selina Taplin and Kylie Leigh for transporting the students to and from the event!
