Ex-students return and we share what we learn from them… we have some fabulous new Board of Trustees members, we have a new caretaker… and a bouquet to dog owners.

On Monday the 20th November Team Magma children attended Linwood High School as part of their ‘tuning in’ for their new inquiry under the theme of How We Express Ourselves.  

With Christmas looming, we thought parents with children moving into the Senior half of school might like a heads up on what sort of device their child might need next year, & what this means for them ... especially for people hoping to incorporate this expense into Santa's sack.

The T@TT of 2018 met this week to discuss leadership, adventure and endless possibilities.

T@TT are inquiring into how 'People see beauty in the world in different ways.' A visit to Llew and Robyn's home+studio was confronting and fascinating; a look into their artists' minds!

As many of you will already know, the wonderful Angie Dalley is retiring at the end of the year, after almost 30 years of teaching at Mt Pleasant Kindergarten. Many of our children went to Mt Pleasant Kindy before coming to Mt Pleasant School. ALL of those children will remember the amazing Angie... 

The children from Rooms 2 and 3 felt strongly, during our last inquiry on 'Sharing the planet' and they wanted to take ACTION and make a difference. 

We are super lucky to be taking part in this great little cookie fundraiser from Cookie Time. Only 58 schools are taking part in this throughout NZ - so lots of opportunity to sell these great little tins of treats! For those of you who placed orders before Friday 17th November...your tins are ready for collection from the office NOW!

Registrations of interest for music lessons in 2018 being taken NOW!  

Anyone whose child is interested in playing violin or just wants to check it out is invited to our “Pizza Party” on Friday 1st December at 3pm to 4pm in the shared space between Rooms 12 and 13.
