We are excited to offer a parenting workshop offering strategies for parents who want to change the behaviours they (and their child!) struggle with. Workshop numbers are limited to no more than 20 parents, but we still a few spaces left!!

A study of beliefs and religions provides new perspectives.

Our third inquiry was ‘People use the structural principles that occur in nature when building.’

On Tuesday the 26th of June, four MPS Year 6 boys attended the Canterbury Primary and Intermediate Schools’ Chess Competition at the Halswell community centre. They were Tomas C, Isaac T, Oliver F, and Luke C-D.

Thank you to our Digi Leaders; Seth, Felix & Louis, for working across the school and teaching us all some of the basics.

Hero and Joey from Team Magma competed in the South Island Cross Country Champs in the holidays. Joey got 6th and Hero 9th. Well done Hero & Joey!!

A team of four Year 7&8 students from Mt Pleasant School competed in the NZ Secondary School Orienteering Champs during the holidays. The competition involved 400 students from schools from as far away as Auckland and Dunedin.

Book Week this year is taking place mid-September, celebrating The Magic of Books....culminating with our famous book parade on Friday, September 14.
