Not so 'New to Nayland'

Every year we love to profile our 'New to Nayland' teaching staff. Today we meet John Walker who isn't quite so new, having started his teaching career at Nayland back in 1988, achieving the role of Head of Mathematics in 2004 after a short stint away in Gisborne, and now he's back again having spent 2019 - 2021 overseas in Thailand. We're glad to have you back John!

IOS Information Evening Tuesday 27 September

We warmly invite Year 8 students interested in joining IOS (Institute of Sport) in 2023, to attend an information evening from 6-7pm on Tuesday 27 September in the Nayland College gymnasium classroom with guest speaker Eloise Van Velthooven, a former professional volleyballer who represented New Zealand at a national level and gained a full athletic scholarship to America. Parents and caregivers welcome, light refreshments provided.
