Our Term 2 focus will be around ensuring students are back at school, learning in-person.

We are pleased to announce that there is an opportunity for Year 9 students to apply to join the current Year 9 IOS (Institute of Sport) class in Term 2.

A huge thank you to Mrs Scott and the Sports department who organised social 'Staff vs Student' netball games at lunchtime yesterday. It was great to see so many staff and students either taking part or cheering their teams on from the sidelines.

As part of "Kō Wai Tātou" in Social Studies, Year 9 students at Nayland College have been learning how to be good Kaitiaki for our environment.

Every fortnight we have been profiling our 'New to Nayland' teaching staff. Today we meet Melody Grant who has taken up the privilege and challenge of teaching our new integrated homeroom class, an initiative established at the start of the year to meet the learning needs of those who learn better with one teacher rather than many.

As previously advertised, Thursday 14 April is a Staff Only Day.
