Last week entries opened for the talent quest, a chance for students to showcase whatever talent they are most proud of. There has been a real range, including singing, dancing, miming and even riding a unicycle!

Over the next week, we are holding auditions. The students have been allocated 3 minutes for their auditions, and this will be ran by teachers and senior students. Performers are receiving scores, and the highest scorers will get to perform on the Oaklands Got Talent Show, Friday 28th September. There will be 12 acts chosen and this will be a tough job with all the talented children who entered. 

The aim of the show is to showcase the variety of talents we have in Oaklands School. To ensure this, I have split the talents into categories.

Singing (Individual)                        3 acts to be chosen

Singing (Group)                               1 act to be chosen

Dancing                                               2 acts to be chosen

Singing and Dancing                     1 act to be chosen

Gymnastics and Ballet                 1 act to be chosen

Playing a Musical Instrument   2 acts to be chosen

Other Talents                                    2 acts to be chosen

Auditions will be held during break times and parents will be welcome to attend.
