Alex HORN

A look back at the sixth week of the term

Reading

After reading testing last week some of us are bringing home harder books. A reminder, if the books we bring home are from the magenta, red or yellow levels we bring home a new book each day, while books from blue, green and orange are new every other day, with old favourites being bought home on the other days.

Writing

Mr Horn's cream into butter experiment was repeated and we wrote about it finally. Some of us also used iPads and Explain Everything to publish our writing.

Miss O'Loughlin class wrote about fairy tales.

Mr Morehu's class wrote about dragons, based on a very cool statue that Mr Morehu bought into school.

Maths

We are starting to get very quick at Maths Whizz and it is now being integrated into our maths programme. A challenge for everyone is to start to memorise our passwords.

Life Education

The Life Education van arrived today. We will be going on Thursday and Friday next week.

Library

We will be going to the library on Thursday afternoons.
