Visit this article10G have spent this week down in the heart of the Catlins exploring this beautiful corner of the South Island. As well has having fun on the many beaches and walks available the focus of the trip was also to complete three academic based projects under the theme of “Compare and Contrast”. This will give the group of boys a tremendous head start as they pursue their academic goals of attaining an Excellence endorsement for NCEA Level 1 in 2017.

Visit this articleOver last weekend (Thursday 24th - Monday 28th November) the OBHS Lodge hosted a group of 20 PhD students and lecturers from Otago University on a writers retreat. They made the most of the isolated location to concentrate on their work; writing thesis, preparing presentations and critiquing each others work.

Why not also get something out for your family to enjoy reading as well!! Books will need to be returned on the first day back at school in 2017.
