The victim statements shared at the sentencing of the Christchurch mosque shooter this week made for harrowing reading, but also highlighted the strength of character of the victims and their families.

While Alert Level restrictions and COVID have meant that the traditional secondary school winter tournament week won’t be happening this year, we are looking forward to following the fortunes of the sports teams that we have competing at various venues around the North Island.

The Music Department held the School Concert again last Friday - during school time without an audience in order to meet Alert level 2 restrictions - so we could record the amazing performances for our young men, parents and supporters.

Young men studying Level 3 Drama are in rehearsal mode as they prepare for their performance of an abridged version of 'Foreskin's Lament'.

Earlier this week the Head of Te Reo Māori, Mr. Strickland, performed a number of karakia before the renovated Science laboratories in S Block were re-opened for student use.

This week junior students had the opportunity to attend the Science Roadshow.
