Old Boys Newsletter December 2021

Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays

As 2021 is drawing to a close we want to wish you all a happy holiday period wherever you may be. Thank you for all the support we have received from our Old Boys throughout 2021.

We have had another unusual year thanks to Covid but we have enjoyed catching up with our Old Boys locally, as we travelled around the country and by email from overseas. The Old Boys' Association is very important to our school, we enjoy having you back at PNBHS, you are welcome anytime and we enjoy hearing from many of you who connect from afar. We love sharing our school and what we are achieving with you all, we are truly thankful to the many Old Boys who contribute back to school, be assured the boys that you help out are extremely grateful and appreciative of the help that they receive. So many boys get to fulfil opportunities that  otherwise would have been lost to them if it were not for your help. We have some fantastic school sponsors, some are Old Boys and some are not but all are connected to PNBHS and we love making those connections.

In 2022 we are hoping to start appealing for help from our Old Boys to lay the foundations of our long thought out plan of building an Old Boys Pavilion and All Weather Turf at school. This project has been in the planning for many years now and it's time to bring it to fruition. A Pavilion is much needed to provide Home and Away changing facilities with a Function Room above which will view both the Main school field as well as the proposed new Hockey Turf. The Turf will double as an all weather surface to allow for extra teaching spaces in the PE area. Of course we cannot do this alone and are hoping many Old Boys will see their way to donate to and support this project. Look out for more information in 2022 or please get in touch with The Rector, David Bovey to express interest in helping to make this happen.

The Old Boys Executive Committee meet regularly and are kept well informed of how we can help school out along with offering ways in which we can help you stay connected with your school. My thanks to all on this committee who are committed and passionate about our school.

Best Wishes and Merry Xmas
