Kia ora Rototuna Whānau,
As we move further into the term we want our focus at the Senior High School to be on quality, connected learning experiences. Quality is demonstrated when students are able to link and integrate individual ideas to show a deeper relational understanding. We want our teachers and students to be able to have conversations that focus on developing this kind of thinking and our optimism in them as learners.
To help us keep this focus on conversations about learning, I am also asking for your support. I know as we move into the colder months it is tempting for some of our students to wear warmer clothes that are not necessarily part of our uniform. Could you please remind your young person they are expected to wear their school uniform if they are not already doing so? I know the teachers would really appreciate your support so that we are able to keep the focus where it needs to be - on the learning.
Thank you in anticipation
Ngā mihi,
Miranda
