Seatoun AFC Junior Open Day
“Interested in playing football this season?" Come along to the Seatoun AFC Junior Open Day to register, or receive information. The Open Day will run from 1:00-2:30pm at Seatoun Park, 20 Hector Street, on Sunday 23rd March There will be football themed games for the kids on the field and registration QR Codes inside the Clubrooms. Registration links are also below.
If you have already signed up for the season with a club, you can still come along and enjoy some games on the field. The bar will be open for chips and refreshments for kids and adults. We will also have a BBQ during the day.

We also have our Fantails programme for girls who haven’t played a lot of football before, to encourage participation. This programme is for girls aged 4-12 (based on ages kids are turning in 2025) and registration for Fantails will also be available at the Open Day. Sessions are from 5-6pm on Thursdays and run weekly. The first session was last week, so feel free to register and join the next session. The link to the Fantails registration form is below

We cater for boys and girls of all abilities in the following junior age groups:
First Kicks 4-6 year olds
Junior and Youth Grades U7-U15 Grades (born between 2010 - 2018)
Girls Sunday Leagues U7-U16 Grades (born between 2009 – 2018)
Friday Community Play at Miramar Tennis Club is up and running for term 1
Led by club members and parents, Community play gives kids aged 5-12 a great chance to have some fun on the court and develop some basic tennis skills. The session runs from 4-5pm every Friday during term time, weather permitting (cancellations notified on the website and Facebook by 2pm). All levels are welcome! There is a small charge of $5 for non-members, payable on the day. We also welcome our new coach to the club, Baptiste Maillet, and have all the usual coaching programmes and private lessons available. Blitz Netball Academy
Blitz Netball Academy is dedicated to providing a 'Basics First' knowledge of netball. We specialise in 7 aside netball! Come learn how to play! We have sessions twice a week over terms 1, 2 and 3 at Ākau Tangi, from 3:45 - 5:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 6 weeks each term.
I know that some of your students have attended in the past or may be attending this year. Our first session is Tuesday 11 February.
